RC Ilocos Norte Central, in partnership with the Philippine Medical Association, proudly participated in the Tutok Kainan initiative—a supplementation program aimed at promoting maternal and child health as part of Task Force Zero Hunger. This first batch of the program focused on providing nutritional support for pregnant women in Vintar, Ilocos Norte, addressing critical health needs for expectant mothers in the community.

As part of the event, Rtn. Diana Emmanuelle Pichay Balbas led an informative session on Prenatal and Maternal Care Nutrition. Her talk emphasized essential dietary practices and health guidelines that support the well-being of both mothers and their babies. This program aligns with Rotary’s commitment to maternal and child health, underscoring the importance of nutrition in early life stages.
