On July 1, 2024, the Rotary Club of Ilocos Norte Central gathered at the CSWDO Care Home in Cabungaan, Laoag City, for a project titled “Love Our Elderly.” Members provided free haircuts, hair dye services, hygiene kits, and cleaning materials, ensuring the elderly residents felt pampered and valued. This was the club’s first project of the new Rotary year and a successful example of community spirit.
🌍 What We Achieved:
The “Love Our Elderly” project focused on enhancing the well-being of the elderly at the CSWDO Care Home. Rotary members spent the day offering haircuts and hair dye services to refresh the residents’ appearance, distributed hygiene kits to promote cleanliness, and provided cleaning materials to improve the living conditions of the care home. The goal was not just to offer material support but also to create moments of joy and connection for the elderly.
