We Are Getting Close! In solidarity with Rotary’s End Polio Now campaign, the Rotary Club of Ilocos Norte held a World Polio Day 2024 celebration, featuring a medical mission and motorcade. With support from Laoag City Health Office staff and the invaluable assistance of Mayor Hon. Michael Marcos Keon, the event provided vaccines and essential health services. Ready, Set, Aksyon! In honor of World Polio Day, Rotary Clubs of Ilocos Norte—RC Health Keepers, RC Laoag Metro, RC Laoag Sunshine, and RC Ilocos Norte Central—joined forces for a meaningful day of service. Beginning with a motorcade from Centennial Arena to Brgy 32B La Paz, Laoag City, the event featured polio vaccinations, medical and dental services, and more. Together with partners like Ilocos Norte Medical Association and TESDA, Rotary continues to bring essential health services to the community, united in the mission to end polio.
